KINA GRANNIS – SEE YOU AGAIN (WHIZ KHALIFA & CHARLIE PUTH COVER)

I love this cover so much that the other day, when I heard the original drizzling from some overhead loudspeaker in one grocery store or another, I was thinking: This is a really shit version of Kina’s song.

Of course I love me some Kina Grannis in general, and Kina has plenty of amazing cover songs (as well as plenty of great original songs). But this one is one of my absolute favourites. It is so smooth, it transports so much emotion and it easily has ten times the soul the original has. If you didn’t know that this is not originally Kina’s song, it would be easy to buy she’s telling her own story here.

Also, this isn’t the first time posting one of Kina’s covers on the new iteration of NMTB (see here) and there will be plenty more to come. I promise, next time it will be one of her originals.
